NO-SCREW-THREAD BABY BOTTLE BY HEGEN MAKES FOR A LONGER AND HASSLE FREE BREASTFEEDING JOURNEY

The world’s first baby bottle with a no-screw-thread closure and stackable square-shaped design by Hegen is now available to Singapore.  We take a look at this revolutionary Press-to-Close, Twist-to Open (PCTO™) innovative bottle by Hegen and find out how mothers and babies can look forward to an enjoyable breastfeeding experience and a longer and hassle free breastfeeding journey.

1.  Simplifies and complements breastfeeding – if a mother can, then her baby gets the very best start in life if the breastfeeding and nursing journey starts well and continues successfully.  However, the physical and mental fatigue, and the pressure to continually balance breastfeeding while re-joining the workforce can make the nursing experience a demanding and tiring one, with many mothers turning to the bottle for support. The new no-screw-thread bottle both simplifies and complements breastfeeding and ensures mothers can carry on breastfeeding for as long as they want.

2.  Move from storage to feeding seamlessly – the bottle’s interchangeable feeding and storage lids make conversion from a feeding to storage bottle seamless.  The unique square-shaped design and wide mouth, Hegen’s first-of-its-kind stackable bottles, nestle together when empty and stack neatly when filled.

3.  Less nipple confusion and reduced risk of milk back flow – the unique designed super soft and off-centre teat makes it easier to combine breast and bottle-feedng while the super soft silicone teat closely mimics a mother’s breast thus minimising nipple confusion and enhancing latch-on naturally.  Also, the bottle’s unique off-centre teat promotes feeding in an upright position, which reduces the risk of milk back flow and likelihood of mid-ear complications.

4.  Created by a real-life mother who has experienced breastfeeding and the challenges of continuing nursing – the PCTO™ innovative bottle is the newest product from Hegen and is created by a real-life mother, founder and brainchild of Hegen, Mrs Yvon Bock. Drawing on her own breastfeeding experience and interaction with like-minded mums, the idea to create the perfect Hegen bottle was born.

British born but having lived overseas for the past 17 years, my life has seen me saying farewell to the damp grey skies of the UK for a life of nibbling warm baguettes in France and now I’m found enjoying the hot, often sticky but always colourful days of Singapore. Living the happy life with my hubby, our 2 boys, 4 guinea pigs and 2 dogs, when I'm not busy with family and pets I I do enjoy my well deserved ‘me’ time. I love to throw myself into writing and I hope everyone will find my work something of interest, inspiration or just a good read!
