THE WORLD IS COMING TO THE SOUP SPOON WITH ITS REVAMP THEME THE WORLD IN ONE KITCHEN

This travel theme rebrand at The Soup Spoon, ‘The world in One Kitchen’ is created based on the co-founder and SouperChef, Anna Lim’s love for travelling as well as a celebration to mark its 13th year anniversary.

During the Japan Souper Inspirations season – The Soup Spoon will serve up:-

Japanese Style Vegan Sweet Potato Curry – this recipe was perfected by Anna using paleo-friendly sweet potato chunks, combining them with made-from-scratch curry roux paste, roasted red apples and barley to make it a simple yet delicious dish. This Soup is thick and creamy, fruity, sweet and spice all at the sometime! By adding a little coconut cream, Anna adds a touch of richness and tames the warming spice. SGD$7.50 (regular), SGD$8.80 (large)

Salmon Head Tounyu Nabe – using inspirations from her travels in Japan and stories shared by her translator, Rei, Anna has created a delicious Japanese soul food that is nutritious, sweet, rounded and delicate in flavour. In fact, this Nabe is very healthy with high volumes of isoflavin, great for the prevention of many cancers, heart disease and osteoporosis. SGD$9.20 (regular), SGD$10.50 (large).

Nikujago Seiyo Wasabi Beef Stew – Traditionally, this meat and potato dish only contains a small amount of meat, which is added more for flavour than substance. It is typically simmered in a soy, mirin, and sugar broth with vegetables. On returning from her travels in Japan, Anna Lim knew she wanted to create a hearty Japanese beef stew with a twist, adding the wasabi element which she had tasted and discovered at Daio Wasabi Farm in Nagano. With a touch of cream for luxury and konnyaku for its zero-calorie miracle diet goodness, this finished dish is a hearty stew that is both sweet and savoury with the element of a nostril-clearing fiery taste! SGD$8.70 (regular), SGD$10.00 (large).
