Indulge in the conscious-dining menu at The Garden and discover little surprise for bubbas at Kids Villa des Enfants
We jumped at the chance to taste the new menu of delicacies at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa’s unique, conscious-dining restaurant, The Garden. The moment we arrived, we were in awe at the charming structure which stood before us and the lush, peaceful greenery surrounding us. The_Garden_Sofitel_Sentosa_Resort_spa_the_garden
When we entered, we could not stop snapping away with our cameras as the classy white-framed windows and luxurious settings of The Garden were simply insta-worthy!

Go outdoors, and there is a beautiful pool and garden! This was a whole new experience. Seldom in this bustling city do we see resorts that keep their guests this much in touch with nature! Guests can even enjoy their meals at the restaurant wearing their comfortable robes, right after their spa sessions! How great is that?

First served to us were dainty glasses of sweet-pink coloured Immunity Juice – consisting of strawberries, pineapples, green apples and carrots – they surely confer many health benefits. (Photo credit: Hannah Chia)

We kickstarted our meals with Salad Construction and Tuna Tataki. The salad dressing was absolutely tantalising and made us crave for more. The tuna dish was particularly unique as the chef had it peppercorn-seared and it gave the tuna a nice fragrance as we bit into it.  For our main course, we tried the Wasabi Miso Glazed Chilean Seabass, Slow Cooked Chicken Breast and the Thai Style Capellini.

Don’t worry if you are not a fan of Wasabi – the taste of Wasabi was mild and the highlight of this dish still goes to the freshness of the Seabass. (Photo credit: Hannah Chia)

Exquisitely decorated with blanched morning glory, the Slow Cooked Chicken Breast meat is tender and goes exceptionally well with Champagne Cream Sauce. (Photo credit: Hannah Chia)

Here comes our favourite dish – the Thai Style Capellini, cooked with Tom Yam Paste and Tiger prawns. The pasta was tangy-from the Tom Yam and sundried tomatoes – and we are certain that anyone who loves spicy food would totally adore this! (Photo credit: Hannah Chia)
This thoughtful restaurant definitely knows how to win the ladies’ hearts. The menu includes calorie count and nutrition values of each dish. We no longer need to spend time pondering over the dishes and adding up the calories of each and every ingredient!

To end off, we had Dark Chocolate and Avocado Mousse with mixed berries. We loved it because it was not too sweet but tasted great and satiable!
