Downton Abbey: The Exhibition

Downton Abbey: The Exhibition, the first-ever fully immersive experience inside the world of Carnival Films’ multi award-winning and global television phenomenon, Downton Abbey is at Marina Bay Sands. For those who has watched the TV series, the multi-year international tour will connect visitors with their favourite characters, costumes and locations as well as showcase never-before-seen footage and historic moments.

Taking visitors on an extraordinary journey through the grand home of Downton Abbey, the exhibition will peer into the world of the Crawleys and those that served them below stairs. The experience will also provide a fascinating look at all aspects of the post-Edwardian period, World War I and the post-war years to the Roaring Twenties, a peek into British society, culture and fashion, in addition to historical events of the era which would go on to shape the world.

Date: 16 June to 31 July.

Downtown Gallery to set record for Longest Fruit Mosaic in Singapore

More than 80 recent graduates from Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic will come together and lend a hand on 2 July to create a massive mosaic along Shenton Way using a variety of fruits. The public is also invited to participate and be part of this record breaking moment in Singapore. Road closure of two traffic lanes along Shenton Way will also take place for the attempt of setting this new record.

Fruit-themed pop-ups by juice bar FRESHE, lifestyle and fitness app GuavaPass, Spanish froyo franchise smöoy and local gourmet grocer and café THE PROVIDORE will be giving out limited quantities of freebies while stocks last at Level 1 of Downtown Gallery, Designated charities will also receive complimentary bags of fruits after the record has been announced by officials fromthe Singapore Book of Records. Art-Zoo Inflatable Park

Following the last Art-Zoo in March, Art-Zoo Inflatable Park is back this time at Resorts World Sentosa! Art-Zoo Inflatable Park received lots of love and was a hit with kids (and teenagers) who have plenty of energy to bounce!

Ticket prices are $10 for adults, and $20 for children.

Cold Storage Oishi Festival 2017

APSN – The Social Fairground

Singapore will be organizing first-of-its-kind fundraising event, APSN – The Social Fairground on 15 July 2017. Supported by The Local People (TLP) and the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), the State property at 25F Patterson Road would be transformed for the event from 11am to
9pm. Packed with fun-filled activities and specially curated market stalls, all proceeds from the $12 ticketed event will go towards supporting and funding operations, training and programmes for APSN’s Centre for Adults.

ACT 3 International presents ‘The Curious of Adventures of Pinocchio’

‘The Curious of Adventures of Pinocchio’ is an all time favourite for parents to teach kids not to lie. This production is Artistic Director of Lyngo Theatre, Patrick Lynch’s second show in Singaporewhose last show here ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ in September 2016.  He captivated us with an atmospheric setting, original music, ingenious use of specially-designed handmade props, all which were made by him!

In this production, we can look forward to yet another great performance through Patrick Lynch’s ingenious use of props again.

Date: 25 July to 6 August 2017 (Daily).

Venue: Drama Centre Black Box.

Note, this show is suitable for children ages 5 years and up.
