SINGAPORE RIVER FESTIVAL 2017

This year’s Singapore River Festival theme ‘Turn up the River’ promises an exhilarating weekend of ‘firsts’ at the Singapore River precinct including Singapore River’s first light projection rave ‘Lit Up Party’ and LED Kite Show ‘Skylight Spectacular’. Held annually since 2015, the Singapore River Festival celebrates the heritage, people and places that are along the iconic Singapore River.

SOUND OF MUSIC MUSICAL

The Sound of Music returns to Singapore by popular demand this November. Don’t miss your chance to catch the most well-loved musical and sing along to the most iconic tunes including DO-RE-Mi, My Favourite Things, Edelweiss,  The Lonely Goatherd, Sixteen Going on Seventeen, Climb Ev’ry Mountain and the title song – The Sound of Music.

Six out of the seven children that form the von Trapp family are from Singapore’s most talented young actors and actresses. The eighteen successful young boys and girls, aged from six to 14, will perform in rotation as the small and cute Gretl, the brothers Frederich and Kurt, as well as their sisters Marta, Brigitta, and Louisa.

The 15th edition of W!LD RICE’s annual must-see holiday musical makes its world premiere at the Drama Centre Theatre. In this playful, funny retelling of ancient Chinese folk tale Madam White Snake, long-time collaborators and best friends Glen Goei and Ivan Heng will take to the stage to play the celestial snakes of legend.
