WINGS OF TIME IS SENTOSA’S LATEST SIGNATURE NIGHT EXTRAVAGANZA
We recently wrote about our bidding a fond farewell to Sentosa’s very own show Songs of the Sea as it closed, after 7 successful years, to make way for something new and even more exciting. Now we are more than happy to tell you about the show that is new to Sentosa – Wings of Time.
Wings of Time is a creative and technical marvel that is developed as part of Sentosa’s on-going efforts to refresh its attractions and we at Bubbamama can truly say it is a show that offers something for everyone.
Wings of Time redefines conventional rules of story-telling with a poetic take to a tale of friendship and courage.
“We want the audience to be immersed in a world where their imagination can literally take flight, from the moment the lights go on. From the artistic treatment of the landscapes to the intensity of the characters’ challenging moments, Wings of Time offers a unique experience for each guest to sing, feel and let their minds wander with the characters” says Sam Lee, Director Island Business, Sentosa Leisure Management.
Our Editor Clare went along with her bubbas, Edward 12 and Elliott 10 to catch the Wings of Time show on Sentosa – The State of Fun. So, after bidding farewell to Songs of the Sea just weeks earlier, what did Clare and her bubbas think to Wings of Time:-
Elliott (10 years old) – “The lights, colours, fireworks and lasers are cool. The characters’ adventures with Shahbaz, the effects and music had me glued to the show…I loved it!”
Edward (12 years old) – “The story made me think and imagine whole new adventures to be had by the characters. The effects in the show and stage set up are excellent, I took lots of photographs and they are so colourful.”
Clare (our Editor) – “It’s definitely a story for all the family, I loved watching the reaction on my kids’ faces as the lights came on and they followed the characters, Rachel, Felix and Shahbaz (the bird) on their adventures from the Industrial Revolution and the Silk Road eras, to the African Savanna and underwater depths. I know this will have the same draw and even more success than Songs of the Sea did previously.”
Its a must see for all the family!
