THE ASIAN FESTIVAL OF CHILDREN’S CONTENT RETURNS THIS YEAR WITH A DIVERSE LINE-UP OF CONFERENCES, MASTERCLASSES, BOOK LAUNCHES AND MORE…
Organised by the National Book Development Council of Singapore, the Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC) will run from 30 May to 4 June 2014 at the National Library of Singapore.
The six day festival promises educational fun for everyone, from industry practitioners to members of the public. Popular programmes such as the Writers & Illustrators Conference, the Teachers Congress and the Parent Forum and others will return. Some notable speakers include authors Sally Gardner, Mitali Perkins, Fatima Sharafeddine and Ruskin Bond as well as illustrators Il Sung Na and James Mayhew who will be at some of the organised sessions.
FREE Public Events
There will be various free public events, including the Asian Festival of Children’s Content Media Mart & Book Fair, various book and product launches as well as language programmes. Famed Chinese author Tang Sulan will be chairing some workshops for children to express their creativity and craft stories.
