OPULENT MID-AUTUMN TREASURES OF PARK HOTEL GROUP
The Mid-Autumn Festival is upon us, once again, with Grand Park City Hall Hotel making this year’s most opulent mooncake treasures. They offer renditions of both traditional and contemporary pastries.

The Golden Yam with Yolk mooncake is a favorite among mooncake lovers – fashioned with a light and crispy golden pastry that is fried to perfection, wrapping around silky smooth yam paste and premium egg yolk within it. Another perennial favorite is the White Lotus Seed Paste with either single or double yolk that will surely thrill your palate with its wholesome goodness.
I found Grand Park’s contemporary renditions exceedingly tempting. The Golden Pumpkin with Mung Beans & Single Yolk offers unique take on mooncake with yolk and pumpkin.
The Imperial Jade & Coconut Truffle in Snowskin easily filled half my stomach since I love chocolates and the truffle just melted in my mouth. I got (very slightly) tipsy on the Golden Cognac Truffle on Snowskin and I loved it! The temptingly chewy Pearly Lychee in Snowskin soothed my craving for something gently sweet. Now I know why this was the best seller last year. And the Royal Topaz with Nougat & Chocolate Pops in Snowskin reminded me why I have loved nougat so much and this rendition in the form of a mooncake is bold and yet addictive.
Now, being a conscientious doctor and all, I must recommend you Grand Park’s healthy gems of Golden Jade with Duo Nuts (Vegetarian) and White Lotus Seed Paste with Macadamia Nuts (diabetic friendly). Created with less sugar, they are most suitable for those who need proper glycemic control.
Once in a while, you may indulge (in moderation, please) in such temptations as Grand Park’s Premium Imperial Mid-Autumn Treasures Gift set or the Royal Mid-Autumn Treasures Gift set. They are both finished in the most opulent of packaging and the mooncakes of your choice.
