So, It is Located in the former Tiger Balm Factory, Shake Shacks’ second outlet pays tribute to the culturally rich neighborhood of Tanjong Pagar by collaborating with Singaporean artist, Sam Lo. Through her, a striking façade mural inspired by the neighborhood with auspicious Chinese symbols. Malay roof eaves and Peranakan tiling on the side of the building is created.
Indoors, the historical building retains a modern feel with details such as soft pink, mint hues and rose-gold accents. The airy interior is then anchored by a tiger mural harkening back to the building’s history as the former Tiger Balm factory.

This goes back to Shake Shack’s roots of supporting the arts and in keeping its mission to Stand For Something Good® – where they are committed to extending hospitality beyond the four walls of each Shack into the surrounding community.
