GUNDAM DOCKS AT SINGAPORE WITH 200 GUNDAM MODELS ON DISPLAY AND LIMITED EDITION GUNDAM MERCHANDISE ON SALE
One of the world’s largest showing of the iconic Gundam sensation has landed right at the heart of Orchard Road in Singapore. Last weekend, Bandai Namco Asia and Takashimaya officially opened Gundam Docks at Singapore which runs through to 28th June 2015 at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza and Takashimaya Square.
This out of this world exhibition includes a display of two 6-metre tall Gundam and Zaku models, 10 smaller 1.7-metre Zaku models at the outdoor space of Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza as well as so much more for fans to see inside at Takashimaya Square; over 200 Gundam models along with limited edition Gundam model kits and related merchandise up for sale.
Gundam fans are in for a special treat too as, on the 20th June 2015, fans can look forward to a special stage talk show with 3 main voice actors and actresses of ‘Gundam Build Fighters Try’ – Kazumi Togashi (voice actress for Sekai Kamiki), Yuuma Uchida (voice actor for Yuuma Kousaka) and Yui Makino (voice actress for Fumina Hoshino). Gundam Docks is also hosting Japanese rock band, BACK-ON, who will perform on stage for the first time in Singapore. BACK-ON composed and performed three theme songs for Gundam Build Fighters and Gundam Build Fighters Try.
It’s set to be a month long of intense experience at Gundam Docks Singapore and, fans of all ages can pick up exclusive limited edition items that have been produced as part of the Gundam Docks at Singapore exhibition; including exclusive SG50 Gundam model kit and related fringe merchandise such as tote bags and key chains and showcase of Gundam Breaker 2 game (English version).
Also, when the sun goes down, Gundam and Zaku go face to face with light and sound shows to be held in the evenings. Earth Federation vs Principality of Zeon will bring the Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza to life with these amazing light and sound shows that are unmissable! (see image above).
