52 WEEK PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE WEEK #2
I think this 52 Week Photography Challenge is, not just a good way to improve on my photography skills and see other’s brilliant pictures, but it’s a good way for me to explore my new home and really look at everything and everything.
Week #2 task Landscape : Traditional – Shoot a beautiful landscape and share it with the world. Find a nice foreground and don’t’ forget the sky.
That made me look around me and see my new home and my surroundings and I decided to take this photo looking out from the deck at my new house over the hills and landscape off to the East.
It’s Summer her in Adelaide, South Australia and it hasn’t rained for such a long time – the neighbours have told us that it probably won’t rain until the end of March! So my photo of the landscape shows just how dry the land is. Just over to the right of my picture on the far hill, there was even a bush fire that caused a lot of damage to properties, wildlife and nature : it happened on Christmas Day! It must have been really scary!
Next week’s task for the 52 Week Photography Challenge is Artistic : Red – Shoot whatever inspires you. Red should be the focus of the image. Don’t be afraid to be creative.
