SEEING THAILAND THROUGH EYES OF THAIS (TEOUT)
With the recent country wide curfew in Thailand, many holiday planners are encouraged to head elsewhere. Life for the Thais still carry on as usual (according to my friends in Thailand when I chatted with them on the phone) except they have to stay indoors from 10pm to 4am every night. Since we are not ‘able’ to visit, the Thais have brought their world to us here in Singapore.
A photo exhibition showcasing Thailand’s hidden gems captured by young and talented Thai photographers Kit Bencharongkul and Rattanachot Srikhongmuang was held at The Bull Ring, Resorts World Sentosa starting for three days on 30 May 2014.
Thai-German model/actor Mario Maurer and Thai actress/model Poyd Treechada made a special appearance at the photo exhibition for a meet and greet session with the public on 31 May (Saturday) at 4pm, at The Bull Ring, Resorts World Sentosa. Mario Maurer and Poyd Treechada shared their experiences about their favourite spots in Thailand.
THROUGH EYES OF US THAIS (TEOUT)
The meet and greet session on 31 May (Saturday) at 4pm, at The Bull Ring, Resorts World Sentosa was well attended by Fans of the Thai celebrities Utt Panichkul, Mario Maurer, Poyd Treechada, Bencharongku and Tata Young.
Kit Bencharongkul is a celebrity fashion photographer who has worked with many famous celebrities globally. At 24, Kit Bencharongkul is one of the most well travelled fashion photographer Thailand has nurtured and his works are frequently seen in fashion magazines in Thailand.
Mario Maurer is a household name in Thailand for his charming appearance in his roles in many thai movies. Mario Maurer started modelling at 16 and shot to fame starring in Love of Siam. He is also the lead actor for the Thai Horror movie Pee Mak which is the highest grossing Thai movie of all time last year. 
Big Ass, Da Endorphine and Tata Young performed at the concert to showcase Thai music on 31 May at 7:30pm at The Coliseum at Hard Rock Hotel, Resorts World Sentosa. For more pictures, please click here for the album.
