DOUBLE DOSE OF VIKINGS ACTION WITH THE RETURN OF HISTORY CHANNEL’S DRAMA SERIES AND SEE HISTORY™ COME ALIVE AT VIKINGS VILLAGE @ MARINA SQUARE
To tie in with the HISTORY™ channel’s highly anticipated drama series, VIKINGS, premiering later this month, HISTORY buffs can explore the first-ever Vikings Village at Marina Square Central Atrium, from 26 February to 1 March, 10.00am to 10.00pm.
Held in partnership with StarHub, an educational and interactive Vikings Village will allow the public to learn more about the medieval and mysterious world of the Vikings, providing an in-depth historical representation to visitors at the Village. Besides the engaging activities, visitors can also get to see the original costumes flown in from the production set in Ireland.
In addition, the public can be a part of HISTORY™ in a joint-effort to build the largest wall mural made out of LEGO® bricks in the country, which will make an entry in the Singapore Book of Records. In an exclusive privilege for StarHub customers, they can show their bills or flash the StarHub mobile operator logo on their phones for access to an express queue to the mural. The completed masterpiece will be taken apart and donated to various children’s charities.
To top it all off, visitors stand to win prizes over the 4-day event through various exciting activities. VIKINGS S3, premieres 27 February on HISTORY™ (StarHub TV Ch 401), with two back- to-back episodes at 10pm (SIN/HK). Thereafter, in a move to provide fans with a value-added experience, episodes following the first will air in a same day telecast as the U.S.
Fans of VIKINGS can catch up on previous episodes from Seasons 1 and 2 currently airing every Friday at 9pm (SIN/HK) on HISTORYTM (StarHub TV Ch. 401).
