CHANGI AIRPORT TRANSFORMS INTO AN AROUND-THE-WORLD WINTER WONDERLAND THIS CHRISTMAS
This year’s Christmas see Changi Airport being transformed into a winter wonderland, bringing a dash of snow; a glimpse of winter and a dazzle of Disney magic to welcome travellers and visitors from all over the world. Changi Airport brings a joyful Yuletide of festivities with the help of the all-time favorites, Mickey Mouse and Friends from 14 November 2014 to 5 January 2015. Travellers and visitors will be treated to fun-filled activities in an elaborate Disney-themed winter wonderland set-up.
Neuschwanstein Castle
Travellers who are travelling during this festive season have all the more reasons to be at the airport early to explore festive displays across Changi Airport. An interactive Neuschwanstein Castle, a three storey castle inspired by the original Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty Castles, takes the centre stage at Changi Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall. Visitors will not only be ‘travelling’ in a moving train through the charms of Germany’s countryside, they will also be treated daily multi-sensory shows and artificial ‘snow flakes’ to complete a Disney Magic Winter Wonderland experience. To celebrate the season of giving, visitors at the castle can collect tickets before each show to redeem for a special Disney gift at the redemption booth (while stocks last).
Neuschwanstein Castle daily multi-sensory show time:
- Weekdays: 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
- Show time on weekends, Public Holidays and Eve of Public Holidays: 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
Changi Airport has also launched a special Christmas micro-site for users to send Disney-themed festive greetings from Changi to their friends and families around the world. The sender will stand to win a full set of six Mickey and Minnie Mouse plush toys every time a customisable Disney-themed e-card is sent.

Activities at Changi Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall, beside Check-in Row 11:-
- Mickey and Minnie Mouse meet-and-greet sessions: 19 to 21 December 2014: 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:00 pm, 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm.
- Interactive storytelling and stage performances by professional ventriloquist puppeteers, French visual performers and contact jugglers: weekends from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
- Mickey Mouse Club House Bouncy Playground: opens daily from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm. To enter the playground, simply present any same-day receipt with a minimum spend of $30. Every $30 spend allows a single entry
To bring home a piece of Mickey and Minnie mouse, fans can look forward to collecting a full set of six limited-edition Christmas plush toys featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse in various country-themed costumes at S$3 each when they spend a minimum of S$60 in a single receipt in Changi Airport’s public area, S$100 in the transit area (while stocks last) or free for the first 1,000 Changi Rewards members who accumulate a nett spend of S$1,200 during the promotion period. A new pair will be launched for redemption every fortnight from now till 4 January 2015.
