SKECHERS Celebrates friendship this December at the inaugural SKECHERS Friendship Walk at Gardens by the Bay East on 1st December 2018. The non-competitive walk will flag off at Gardens by The Bay East and will be lined with inflatable obstacles along the 5km route ending in Tanjong Rhu Promenade.
Started in 2009 in Manhattan Beach in California, SKECHERS Friendship Walk brings people from all walks of life for a common purpose – to support children with special needs and education. The USA edition of the SKECHERS Friendship Walk is produced by SKECHERS USA and co-produced by The Friendship Foundation and attracted over 13,000 participants annually and supported six education foundations over the past nine years.
After nine successful SKECHERS Friendship Walk editions in Manhattan, the United States and subsequently, China, Malaysia, SKECHERS’ biggest walk is coming to Singapore. Photo enthusiasts can look forward to taking photos against Singapore famous skyline with landmarks such as the Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer and Sports Hub.
Before the walk begins, each participant will receive a limited edition race tee from SKECHERS! The race tees come with four different designs which will remind you that Friendship creates:

- LASTING memories
Participants and their families will end the walk at the carnival village where they can enjoy great food and drinks, engaging activities and chill at a movie “theatre” under the night sky to end off their day.
