Swee Leng and her friends are Samsui women. When a devastating fire sweeps through 1960s Bukit Ho Swee leaving thousands homeless, Swee Leng and her Samsui sisters rise to the occasion to help the people rebuild their lost homes. However, many workers on the ground think that the women are too old and weak to help.
Join the tenacious Samsui women in this theatrical treat especially for children and their families. Samsui Women: One Brick at a Time is a rare glimpse into the lives of the once familiar Samsui women and features an array of different puppetry, creative set designs and a moving story about friendship and never giving up.
Samsui Women: One Brick at a Time is presented by The Finger Players in this special one-day only performance at Esplanade.

From the producer of The Sound of Music and Annie comes another classic show for all the family – a stunning new interpretation of Sleeping Beauty on Ice, performed by the award-winning Imperial Ice Stars, who make a welcome return to Singapore as part of their 10th Anniversary World Tour.
Set to the magnificent music of Tchaikovsky, this Sleeping Beauty on Ice brings a new take – and some new twists – to the classic fairytale love story, with exhilarating choreography and innovative staging from Tony Mercer, the world-renowned director of theatre-on-ice.
With lavish new costumes, sumptuous sets incorporating a dual level skating surface, spectacular flying sequences, and dramatic fire effects, Sleeping Beauty on Ice is a theatrical experience suitable for all ages, from 3 to 103.
