TIMES BOOKSTORES OPEN A NEW CONCEPT STORE AT MARINA SQUARE WITH FOCUS ON FAMILIES AND CHILDREN
Times Bookstores may well have been established back in 1978 but, this is one bookstore that is moving with the times and staying ahead even in today’s world of technological advances.
At the recent unveiling of its sixth store, Times Bookstores showed us a new concept store with refreshed warm and look and more, a renewed focus on families and children.
Designed in a cheerful orange palette complemented by warm brown hues of wood furnishings and trims, the new store, which spans over 2,800 square feet, exudes an inviting feel that makes browsing and shopping for books and other merchandise a truly enjoyable activity.
With approximately 30% of the store being dedicated to children’s books and kids merchandise, bubba will love to browse for reading materials as well as find popular games. Those looking for gifts for children can be sure to find educational toys and games that stimulate cultivate and promote creativity to make learning fun and exciting.
Head of Retail for Times Publishing Group, Ms Helen Lek spoke of the strong heritage (over 30 years) that Times Bookstores has in Singapore, she went on to say (that) “Moving forward, we are dedicated in catering to the evolving needs of families and children by providing them with an inspiring and conducive environment suited for learning and discovery“.
Times Marina Square will serve as the blueprint for the company’s biggest store that is slated to open at Waterway Point in Punggol come January 2016. Spanning over 7,300 square feet, the store will also be one of the key tenants of the mall.
