NTUC U FAMILY’S 2015 EDITION OF U PICNIC EVENT POSTPONED AS HAZE REACHES UNHEALTHY LEVELS
This weekend, 3rd October, was set as the NTUC U Family’s 2015 edition of U Picnic but, in light of the unpredictable haze and weather conditions, NTUC U Family has announced that this event must be postponed until further notice.
This, much-anticipated, fourth instalment of NTUC U Family U Picnic event has took a lot of effort and hard work to organise and, said Ms to Hwee Tin, Director of U Family, “(that) postponing the event may bring about much disappointment to the community and those who purchased tickets, but we would like to assure ticket holders that the event will return at a later time when haze conditions have cleared up“.
Currently, U Family and U Picnic event organisers are working on confirming the new event date and details, and will update all registered participants soonest. Ticket holders will still be entitled to collect their picnic with goodies worth more than $40 on the new event date and are advised to check the U Family Facebook page for further announcements.
Ms Toh Hwee Tin, Director of U Family said: “We apologise for any inconvenience that the postponement may have caused, and seek the families’ understanding on the matter as the safety, health and well-being of our participants and staff remain our top priority.”

Registered participants and ticket holders will be able to attend the rescheduled U Picnic event and will be able to collect their picnic goodies on the new event date too.
