With the school holidays almost upon us, parents are now looking for ways to make it the most wonderful time of the year through fun activities for kids in Singapore.

In its 7th year, Christmas Wonderland adds a virtual edition as its response to the times. It’s a whole new way of experiencing the magical realm we’ve always associated with the yuletide season. Their lineup of fun activities for kids includes interactive content, online games, exclusive performances and demonstrations. These all await both young and old at the 2020 Christmas Wonderland. Visitors even get to say hello to Santa in a private Cisco Webex video call!

Nonetheless, you can also choose to witness and experience the impressive light installations in person head over to Gardens by the Bay for the Walk of Lights with the family. Tickets to the onsite event (priced at S$5 each) are sold separately from their virtual offerings.

Future World at the ArtScience Museum

Future World takes you on a journey through different narratives about garden, sanctuary, park and space. In this interactive installation from the ArtScience Museum, you and your kids can discover a  great world of art, science, magic and metaphor.

This December, watch out for their special interactive installation entitled Sketch Christmas. Be transported to a fictitious Christmas town with local landmarks like the Merlion, the ArtScience Museum, and the Singapore Flyer.

For a hassle-free visit, make sure to pre-purchase your tickets online because there are limits to the venue’s capacity and timed entry is observed in the exhibitions.

Sci-sational Christmas at the Science Centre Singapore

From now until the 25th of December, members and guests can explore the Sci-sational Christmas Trail which will put your knowledge of science to the test. Kids and parents alike can help out Santa on his Christmas journey as they navigate their way through various exhibits.

You’ll never run out of fun activities for kids here. To further keep the young ones entertained, have them watch the Supercool Sci-sational Christmas Show, or let them try their hand at Christmas candle-making! Big thrills are coming at the Universal Studios Singapore this holiday season, so prepare your kids to meet the Merry Minions of Christmas — they’ve already switched up their classic overalls to something more Christmassy!

Aside from this meet and greet event, the whole family can step into a Christmas movie land where Santa is the director. Savour that movie star experience as you go through interactive movie scenes and catch favourites such as get to catch Shrek and Princess Fiona on the red carpet.

Winter Fairy Tales at Snow City Singapore

Various species, of both the carnivorous and herbivorous kinds, are sure to wow both the young and not-so-young visitors. To get to the site and experience these fun activities for kids, all you have to do is travel by foot (or rent a bicycle from GoCycling) from HUB & SPOKE.
