Going to Art Bug has given me more ideas how Bubba can respond to reading positively. Whenever we are reading together, I will try to hum a tune-sometimes I come up with my own tune- so it makes reading more enjoyable for him.
Look at that smile on Bubs’ face, this ‘Touch and Sing Old Macdonald’s Farm‘ book by Ladybird is one of his favorite- and we bring it with us wherever we go- he gets to touch the farm animal with each song. It’s usually a book or the 3 Groovy Pigs on the ipad that keeps him occupied and happy now.
Mothers, try humming a tune when you are reading to your Bub and you will definitely enjoy the Happyments they bring.
