Earth Hour is a global annual event and is a movement (organized by World Wildlife Fund) to raise awareness of Earth’s climate change. It encourages everyone (household and businesses) worldwide to save energy and care for Mother Earth by “switching off” for an hour.
Earth Hour is scheduled for the last Saturday of every March and this year’s Earth Hour 2013 is on 23rd March, Saturday at 8:30pm. I am planning to take this hour to spend some quality BubbaMama time, tech detox to a relaxed ambience. Maybe give Bubba a baby massage-which he totally enjoys.
Things I need to prepare:
- Clean Towel- for Bubba to lie on
- Organic Massage Oil
- Scented Candles (I’ve shortlisted 2 options for a blend of scents)

Aveda Light the Way candle is made from soy wax and scented with organic spice from Magadascar. Retail Price: $35 at Aveda salons and spas, all proceeds will go to non-profit organization, Global Greengrants Fund to help fund clean water projects for people in Madagascar.

Hot Tip
Do you know that the molten wax in soy candles can also be used as hand moisturizer and lip balm? *Erhm* I am not sadistic or trying to drip hot wax on you but the warm soy oil (molten soy wax) is also used as warm oil for body massages.
