CASIO LAUNCHES CASIO CARES INITIATIVE AND BUY-BACK PROGRAMME TO HELP STUDENTS FROM NEEDY FAMILIES

Casio Singapore has launched the Casio Cares Initiative and Buy-Back Programme as part of their Corporate and Social Responsibility to give back to the community, and support the academic development of youth in Singapore and neighbouring countries.

NOW, students from low-income families (combined household income of less than SGD$2,500) will enjoy a free-to-loan programme and have access to the Casio FX-9860GIIs graphing calculator, which has been approved for use by junior colleges, centralized institutes and integrated programme schools in Singapore by the Singapore Examinations and Assessments Board (SEAB).

“Casio strongly believes that all students, regardless of financial background, should have access to the necessary tools that will help in their academic development. The Casio Cares Initiative will enable students to easily own a powerful graphing calculator to aid in efficient calculations of regressions, probability functions, graphing functions and much more”, said Mr. Shunichi Watanabe, Managing Director, Casio Singapore Pte Ltd.
