AN EMOTIONAL FAREWELL AS SENTOSA’S SIGNATURE SONGS OF THE SEA SHOW TAKES ITS LAST BOW
After wowing audiences with a super successful seven-year run, this weekend saw the Songs of the Sea show take its last bow at Siloso Beach, Sentosa. As many families and friends returned to bid Oscar the tiger fish and the cast a fond farewell, they also enjoyed the dazzling display of fireworks as well as spirited goodbyes with the cast.
We were there as Mr Mike Barclay, CEO of Sentosa Development Corporation addressed the media and invited guests. In his speech he said the closing of Songs of the Sea was an emotional time and he admitted he felt a little teary as the show’s seven-year run came to an end.
But as one show ends, Sentosa makes way for something new and exciting. Coming to Sentosa in June 2014 we will see the Wings of Time soar as Singapore’s upcoming iconic night entertainment attraction.
Now, the Siloso Beach show grounds are closed in preparation for the new multimedia night spectacular that is set to begin performing on 17th June 2014.
