Lately, we have been tasting some new and exciting sweet treats and also have seen some of our favourites popping up in new locations. Needless to say, we have had some very tasty moments researching and reviewing for this post just so you can find your Just Desserts to treat bubba and all the family.
DENSITY Frozen Custard – velvety-smooth and lusciously creamy all-natural traditional super-premium ice cream. Frozen Custard could be one of the best kept secrets of the USA, so we were delighted to find out that the first ever frozen custard store is now open in Singapore. DENSITY Frozen Custard churns fresh each morning and serves three flavours daily – the focus is on quality over quantity – favourites include Black Forest, Peach, Gingerbread, Pistachio, Pumpkin Pie, and Matcha. Frozen Custards are lower in calories and sugar and made with natural ingredients (milk, cream and eggs). Why DENSITY? This name is chosen to describe the low levels of air incorporated into the making of frozen custard, which in turn allows less use of sugar and more of the ‘good stuff’!

KRISPY KREME Doughnuts – miniature assorted doughnuts and kool kreme options now available at new store at Resorts World Sentosa. Spanning 888,88 square feet with a seating capacity of 32 pax, we can now enjoy a cup of signature Krispy Kreme beverage and munch on an Original Glazed® while taking time out of the hustle and bustle of Resorts World Sentosa. With the opening of this new store, Krispy Kreme have little mouths and little tummies in mind and have now introduced NEW Krispy Kreme Mini Assorted Doughnuts to their yummy list of just desserts. Fun-sized yet big on taste, we can choose Mini Original Glazed®, Mini White Chocolate Coconut Praline, Mini Dark Chocolate Raspberry Ring and Mini Mocha Crisp. Mini Doughnuts are served three doughnuts per flavour.
Krispy Kreme Resports World Sentosa is open Sundays to Thursdays 8am to 10pm and Fridays, Saturdays and eve of Public Holidays at 8am to 11.30pm.
HONEY CREME Premium Soft Ice Cream – this popular Taiwanese soft serve brand have launched 2 new flavours to mark the opening of their second outlet (located at Jem shopping mall) and are also celebrating SG50 with a limited edition flavour. Honey Creme Cereal Milk (exclusive to Jem from mid-July to mid-August 2015) and Honey Creme Pandan Gula Melaka (SG50 limited edition flavour). Honey Creme Pandan Gula Melaka is inspired by quintessential Singaporean desserts and snacks such as chandelle, ice kacang and panda chiffon cake. The all-natural soft serve has a subtle panda flavour and is layered with crunchy puffed rice, chewy attap chee (palm seeds) and finished off with a sprinkling of sweet and salty preservative-free toasted coconut chips, while gulf melaka syrup is served in a pipette on the side so we can add our own gooey sweetness!
Honey Creme at Jem will open mid-July 2015.
Honey Creme Pandan Gula Melaka (priced at $6) is available at now until 30th September 2015 at 313@Somerset and will be available at Jem from mid-July to 30th September 2015.
Honey Creme Cereal Milk (priced at $5.90) is available from mid-July at Jem and from mid-August at 313@Somerset.
