KIDS FEST 2014 – THEATRE FOR KIDS

KidsFest 2014 is a 3-week event presenting world-class theatre from around the world.  Arriving here in Singapore in January and February, KidsFest 2014 tickets are available from Sistic and shows will run at the Drama Centre Theatre and DBS Arts Centre.

With shows including The Gruffalo, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, The Snow Dragon and more which are suitable for 3 year olds and up, it’s clear that it’s never too soon to introduce your little bubba to the wonderful experience of live theatre and stage shows.  Bubba (and the whole family) will be fascinated and engrossed in the 55 minute shows featuring songs and music as well as some recognizable and colourful characters.

Older Children (7 years and up) are in for a treat and a fun learning experience too with the Horrible Histories shows – Terrible Tudors and Awful Egyptians.

Discovery Kids is proud to partner up with KidsFest 2014 to promote Horrible Histories.  Based on the best-selling children’s books written by Terry Deary and illustrated by Martin Brown, Horrible Histories is packed to the brim with fascinating facts, silly songs, popular pastiches and gruesome gags for kids (and adults).  Horrible Histories is an energetic, surprising and unconventional take on history’s most unpleasant yet funniest moments.  From woeful World Wars, the miserable Middle Ages and the savage Stone Age to cut-throat Celts, terrible Tudors, groovy Greeks, rotten Romans, vile Vikings and awful Egyptians, history has never been so engaging.  Basically, it’s history with the nasty bits left in!
