Señor Taco Clarke Quay - Neon Sign

IN THE MOOD FOR MEXICAN FOOD?

Hop over to Señor Taco! This taqueria is conveniently located in the heart of Clark Quay, making it the perfect place to people-watch or have a few drinks with fellow Mamas. Groove to the beats of the latest hits from Latin America, brought to you by Señor Taco’s very own Sound Lab. Music videos are mixed by the video DJ, leaving you with lots for your eyes to feast on. Swing open those saloon doors and allow yourself to be charmed with its graffiti-filled walls and art-deco tiled-floors, typical of an authentic Mexican bar. Sit yourself on rustic wooden bar stools and let the night begin.

The original Señor Taco seated just 20 diners while its menu featured traditional Mexican tacos and quesadillas, and it has now growth to cater for 140 diners. This expansion sure does sound like a seal of approval to me.

Corona-rita ($24)

Start the night with one of their newest creations, the Corona-rita ($24), that celebrate the marriage of two famous Mexican classics: a tangy frozen lime Margarita and a bottle of Corona beer. Look forward to their extensive drink menus featuring mezcals, Mexican beers and their exclusive range of premium tequilas.

Baja Taco ($8)

As the name suggestes, Señor Taco is The place to go for tacos. The Ribeye taco ($9) cuddles slices of tender 100 day grain-fed ribeye and topped with sautéed jalapeños and onions. My favourite’s the Baja ($8) taco that comes with crispy chunks beer-battered fish, coupled with crunchy cabbage and lastly dressed in savoury chipotle sauce and fresh salsa. The combination of tangy, savoury and sweet flavours in a 6-inch worth of delish is my kind of bar food. Their dedication to serving authentic Mexican cuisine brought Señor Taco to be the only restaurant in Singapore to own and operate a tortilla factory, making sure you get the best out there. Other items to try include 2A.M. Hot Dog ($15) with bacon, cheese, sautéed onions and Señor Taco’s chili con carne and Habanero Alitas ($18), spicy and juicy chicken wings (or extra spicy, if you’re up for it).

Here’s one for the women out there Look forward to Wednesdays, as you can enjoy free flow of Margaritas, Mohitos and white wine from 10pm to 12 midnight for only $15. So many reasons for Señor Taco, so little time!
