Typhoon Haiyan Donation Drive

We all see the devastation in the Philippines caused by typhoon Haiyan and want to help in any way we possibly can.

typhoon help

I am calling out to all readers of BubbaMama and asking if you can join me in helping answer the prayers of the people in those devastated areas of the Philippines.

The Donation Drive, organised by ***Stork’s Nest Singapore, has now kicked off so let us help fill the containers which will be shipped out to Cebu next week (Thursday 28th November)

Please note that all items must be received at any of the collection sites by 10am Monday 25th November 2013.

There are some very specific items that the people of the Philippines so desperately need:-

  • matches (safety only)
  • Candles (generally known as emergency candles)
  • Tinned Sardines (ring pull only)
  • Tinned luncheon meat (ring pull only)
  • Panadol (or equivalent generic brand)
  • Children’s Panadol
  • Antiseptic Cream
  • Ready to Feed Infant Formula (bottled or Tetrapak).  We are aware this item is not available to the general public of Singapore but, should you have guests flying in or a small supply yourself that you could possibly donate, then it would be greatly appreciated.

It is necessary that only the above mentioned items are dropped at the collection points, thus allowing a speedy sorting and packing process at this urgent time.
