Pan Pacific Orchard 10 at Claymore Penang Food

Indulge in Penang specialties 

Craving for Penang food and don’t want to travel all the way there?  It is just the right time to enjoy Penang for the months of April and May, it is a good time to park yourselves at 10 at Claymore to feast on Penang specialities.

Together with the team at Pan Pacific Orchard, Executive Chef Andy Oh brings us on a Penang culinary tour with their Plates of Pleasures with Penang’s famous street food.  Serving up original creations of Chef Oh’s hometown, Penang, he will present an ensemble of dishes the Malaysian town is famous for.

Penang specials to indulge in include Pan Pacific Orchard’s ward-winning Penang Char Kway Teow with Blue Crab Lump, “Live” King Prawn Noodle Broth, XO Seafood Popiah, Bak Kut Teh with Kurobuta Belly Ribs, Asam Laksa with Barramundi Fillet, Penang Rojak, Chicken Kapitan, Pork Trotters in Black Vinegar, Teochew Chendol and Durian Pancakes.

We love the Penang Char Kway Teow for its spiciness and it’s “wok hey”.  We couldn’t stop at just one plate but we were reminded there was more food to try from the Penang spread.  Click HERE to see more pictures.

Lunch: S$42 ++ for Mondays to Fridays | S$48 ++ for Saturdays and Sundays.

Dinner: S$68 ++ Mondays to Sundays.

Dinner: S$98 ++ for 2 persons.

Authentic Flavours of Penang Set Lunch at Pan Pacific Orchard Lobby Lounge offers a 3-course menu for one who don’t a big stomach for a buffet lunch.  The menu includes Chicken “Lor Bak”, Asam Laksa with Barramundi Fillet, the award winning Penang Char Kway Teow with Blue Crab Lump and “Live” King Prawn Noodle Broth for the main course, with Teochew Chendol dessert ending the meal on a sweet note.

Lunch | Time: 12:00pm to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.

3-course lunch: S$16 ++ per person
