WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Tablespoon for measuring and mixing
Teaspoon for measuring
Bowl
Loofah mits (optional)
HOW TO MIX UP YOUR SCRUB
Firstly, read the Ingredients Directory below to help you choose the ingredients for your skin care needs.
Choose the base for your scrub – salt being more harsh and sugar being gentle.
Choose your oil – almond, coconut or olive.
Optional is to add in honey, desiccated coconut or cacao powder.
Choose your scent with a benefit – Tea tree, mint or lemon. You could combine mint and lemon.
Place 6 tablespoons of your chosen scrub base into the bowl.
Add to that 3 tablespoons of your chosen oil.
Add 2 teaspoons of your optional extra if liked.
Finally add in a little scent – 5 drops of tea tree oil, 4 mint leaves (do muddle before adding into your mix) or 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 2 teaspoons of lemon zest.
Now mix well until all of the ingredients are combined.
Body scrubs work better when applied to dry skin. I suggest standing in either your bathtub or shower stall to apply the scrub and the application can be a little messy. Using loofah mits (if you have) or simply your hands to apply the scrub, use gentle circular motion allover. Soles of feet, elbows and knees can have a little extra pressure but do keep it gentle when applying to chest, neck and tummy areas. When you are fully scrubbed and buffed it’s time to rinse off well to reveal your silky youthful skin.
A full body scrub can be repeated twice weekly to maintain your soft moisturized skin you’ll love.
