GET MOVING JOIN FREE DANCE PROGRAMMES AND BE A PART OF GOT TO MOVE 2015

Got to Move Now is a day dedicated to spotlight Singapore’s vibrant dance scene and diverse dance community.  To be held on 24th October 2015, Got to Move Now is an opportunity to catch specially curated dance performances by some of Singapore’s established dance companies and amateur groups.  There will also be a mass dance, educational and interactive dance booths and so much more.

Starting at 4pm at The Promontory @ Marina Bay, on 24th October, we can expect dance taster classes and to finish, a dance after-party as the Got to Move Now event will only end at 10.30pm.

Got to Move Now is part of the Got to Move 2015 nationwide ‘move’-ment to celebrate dance and to get Singaporeans up and moving!  Got to Move 2015 is part of the SG50 celebrations and is slated to be an annual event in the arts calendar.

In a bid to get the whole of Singapore up and moving, the nationwide ‘move’ment’ Got to Move 2015 not only features Got to Move Now but will also include Got to Move ISLANDWIDE that is set to get everyone, everywhere moving.

Got to Move ISLANDWIDE is a series of dance programmes organised and presented by the Singapore dance community.  It will offer the general public a wide selection of dance activities to experience.  These activities range from bite-size taster classes for all ages, dance showcases, workshops for wellness and rehabilitation, to seminars for dance professionals and community activities.

Got to Move ISLANDWIDE will be held from 8th to 23rd October 2015 at various locations across Singapore.
