Wildlife Reserves Singapore Programme

Nowadays, it’s important to keep kids active—  both physically and mentally. Learning activities and cultural exchanges that help them get to know about the world and the creatures around them (like a Blue Heeler dog) can also be very rewarding.

If you’re looking for more ideas, here’s the upcoming programme schedule for Zoo Explained! (Their website will be updated with programme and booking slots progressively).

Emperor Tamarins

Meet the playful Emperor Tamarins from River Safari and their dedicated keeper, Ken, who discovered his passion for animals from a young age.

Like all primates, Emperor Tamarins are intelligent and inquisitive animals. Finding new activities to keep them physically and mentally strong is a never-ending challenge, as Ken will tell you in this session. Learn more about the natural habitats where they live and join in their feeding and enrichment activities!

Animal Behaviour & Training

Meet Natalie and Hanna, the animal trainers from the Animal Friends Show at Singapore Zoo! In this session, they will show you all the skills needed to bring out the best in their group of domesticated animals such as parrots, cats and dogs! These skills can be applied to your own pets too, so come with all your burning questions and let the Wildlife Reserves Singapore team answer them all.

I am a single mother living in Singapore. I am an advocate of living a healthy lifestyle through exercise; eating right; keeping a positive and youthful outlook of life; and, to live vicariously while you can. When not spending time watching Bubba grow, I am catching up on the latest news and entertainment gossip. I strongly believe that empowerment is possible for anyone, as long as they believe in themselves and the people around them.
