SUKI-YA EAT ALL YOU CAN SUKIYAKI & SHABU SHABU

During a visit to Bedok Point on a weekday night, we picked SUKI-YA for our dinner tasting.  SUKI-YA offers a heart-warming dining experience at affordable price and not compromising the quality of the food.  The signature shabu-shabu dish goes with the cuts of meat served.

OWL CAFE WHERE EAST MEETS WEST

Owl Coffee is not new to us in Singapore, we grew up watching the Owl Coffee television commercials humming the all so catchy jingle.  Owl Coffee has rebranded itself with a East meets West concept which makes coffee time reminiscing the old times enjoyable.

Mango Pomelo Soya Beancurd, $3.80

The normal Mango Pomelo dessert is usually served with mango pudding but Owl Cafe’s version is served with soya beancurd.  This adds an interesting flavour and a healthy option for those watching the waistline.  We love how the beancurd melts in our mouth and we could not stop ourselves from finishing the dessert.

Durian Pengat, $5.80
Durian Pengat, $5.80

The Durian Pengat is made from a blend of D24 and Mao Shan Wang durian puree. The bitterness and buttery texture of the Mao Shan Wang and the strong durian taste from D24 is to die for, it is definitely a dessert to order for those durian lovers out there.**Warning- this dessert can give you nose bleed if taken in large amount**

Signature Pumpkin Kaya Butter Toast, $2.00

The Signature Pumpkin Kaya Butter Toast plays around with the local Kaya Butter recipe by adding the pumpkin flavour giving it a healthy option of folic acid.  It is a perfect tea time snack for those who like their toast in the afternoon with a cup of coffee or tea.

Charcoal Roasted Coffee, $3.80
