Most of us already know that aloe vera gel is a natural medicine for cuts, grazes and burns. But did you also know that you can wear aloe vera?
The folks at Carrot, Banana & Peach say yes! The brand has a range of organic and earth-friendly togs, including a range made using aloe vera fabric.
It seems that outfits made with aloe vera fabric assists in ‘the transport of moisture to the skin’, while absorbing smell at the same time. Which means no more embarrassing odours from perspiration!
The material is also anti-bacterial, so no worries about mold or other unwanted germs flourishing on it when kept in a dark wardrobe.
Another great property about this feather-light fabric is that it is sufficiently strong to be washed in the machine.
There are many great aloe vera pieces available at Carrot, Banana & Peach. But I love the Aloe Vera Pant Skirt. It can easily take you from yoga classes to a casual lunch date. Or wear it on its own for ease of movement when you are out and about!
Besides aloe vera and bamboo, what other natural fabrics do you know of? Which is your favourite?
