ATKINSONS – A THOROUGHLY MODERN HAUTE PARFUMERIE LINE
We were delighted to attend the recent launch of Atkinsons’ latest addition to their haute parfumerie line, ‘The Contemporary Collection‘.
The Contemporary Collection showcases three surprisingly edgy interpretations of the most emblematic ingredients in perfumery. From a truly feminine scent of Rose moving onto the unique unisex icy Lavender finishing with a rather posh-sporty scent of Green-ery, this Contemporary Collection has something for everyone. The familiar is transformed into the fabulously unfamiliar in a way that is distinctive and intriguing:-
- Rose in Wonderland – Rose Dew accord & Blackcurrant buds, Geranium & Rose Centifolia Absolute and Vetiver & Cristal amber make up the scent of this rose fragrance to wear and beware! The scent oscillates between a delicate, luminous rose dew accord and the somber, voluptuous, honey-tobacco accents of the unique Centifolia Rose. The base notes texturise the fragrance’s fatal floral character with a petal-like dry down of velvety white musk and crystal amber.
- Lavender on the Rocks – Geranium & Basil, Rose essence with Lavender essence & absolute and Gaiac Wood and Oud accord are blended like fine spirits to create this lavender cocktail. It is a strong, icy eau de parfum that radiates a gorgeously delirious buzz, both invigorating and disorienting! There’s intense heat at the heart of the fragrance, while the base is a flickering of woody amber warmth composed of a creamy Guaiac wood and dark, mysterious saffron Oud accord.
- Posh on the Green – is a preppy chic perfume of sumptuously stylish sportsmanship. Coriander & Petit Grain, Galbanum & Geranium with Vetiver & Cedarwood make this fragrance suited to the tennis courts, polo fields or the long leisurely afternoon garden parties. The scent has a crisp green floral top note that leads us down the garden path into the heart of this intensely botanical fragrance. The peppery verdant intensity of galbanum surrounded by rose mint geranium planted in the rich, smoky earthiness of vetiver.
