GREEN LIVING 2015 A MULTI-SENSORIAL EVENT TO CONTINUE THE SINGAPORE GREEN STORY : THE ECO LIFESTYLE EVENT : GREEN LIVING 2015
Did you know that from 31st August 2015 through 6th September 2015 is Singapore Green Building Week (SGBW)?
Introducing the eco lifestyle event : Green Living 2015, is Singapore’s first sustainability and design show that focuses on meeting the needs of eco-conscious consumers and businesses as well as raising the awareness of adopting an ‘eco-lifestyle’ to us all.
Kicking off on Friday, 4th September at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, visitors to Green Living 2015 will see the various galleries and zones to showcase products and ideas in this first of it’s kind to Singapore, multi-sensorial event. Live, Work & Play areas to explore in a fully interactive manner while families (kids and adults alike) can participate in workshops and visit interesting exhibits.
Some highlights that are not to be missed at Green Living 2015 are:-
Singapore Green Story – Learn about Singapore’s initiatives and policies that lead to the nation’s success in achieving the triple bottom line sustainability. Hosted by various government agencies, this exhibit is designed in a fun, easy-to-grasp manner that will appeal to all the family.
BCA Green Office Pop-Up – This interactive ‘green office’ that offers green tips and benefits for office users, building owners and landlords. Exhibitors here will promote their ideas and see you discover how adopting green offices promotes a more efficient workforce and a healthier lifestyle. Do stop by this exhibit and grab a free cup of yoghurt at the roadshow.
Mumpreneur Corner – Here, you can hear stories from mamas who have successfully established green businesses while balancing the duties of motherhood too.
Fun Activities and Workshops – Children and adults can enrol in a choice of many activities and workshops to start making a conscious choice to live green. Bubba can play and learn how Green Living 2015 is important for a healthy lifestyle and a happy earth. With activities where kids can learn how to upcycle unused products at home into something fancy, adults can see how to start a ‘green’ diet and learn how to create their very own urban garden, there really is something to amuse and entertain the whole family.
Fashion with Conscience, from Day to Night Fashion Show – Zhai Collection will present, along with models from Miss Earth Singapore 2015, the first eco fashion brand. Zhai carries a full collection of styles made from bamboo fibe and strives to be an environmentally responsible clothing brand which offers simple, classic and versatile pieces.
