Where To Dine For Mother’s Day 2018


All mothers deserve a pampering (actually all the time, not just on Mother’s Day) so treat them to a well-deserved good meals with the various delicious promotions that are ongoing for this special occasion. Or if you are a mummy, drop them some not so subtle hints on where you’ll like to go.

Blue Jasmine: Mother’s Day Menu
For those who like fiery flavours, the 7-course halal lunch menu is the ideal meal. It includes fresh rice paper roll with prawns and avocado; esarn roast kampong chicken with smoked chilli sauce; and crabmeat fried rice with pineapple & cashew nut. To mark the special occasion, the restaurant will present mums with a hand-strung Phuang Malai, a Thai floral garland that’s presented as offerings or kept for good luck.

Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay: Mother’s Day Celebration
The Mother’s Day Special is a one-day-only special affair in the form of a three-course menu at Bread Street Kitchen. In addition to dishes like Sunday roast and raspberry pavlova with lemon and mint, mums will also receive a luvly bubbly cocktail. For last minute dads, you’ll love the pastry decorating section the restaurant has set up where the creations can be gifted to mum; after all, it’s the thought that counts, isn’t it.

Cherry Garden: Weekend Dim Sum Brunch
Those familiar with Cherry Garden will already know what their weekend brunch has to offer: a range of well-loved dimsum classics. For Mother’s Day, the chefs have added crispy-fried scallop with lychee and salted egg yolk, as well as pig trotters and egg with ginger in sweet and tart vinegar. There’s also a special dinner menu with pan-fried beef cubes with sliced garlic in black pepper sauce, and almond cream with bird’s nest.

The Song of India: Michelin Star Treat

Mums eat free for Mother’s Day at The Song of India with a group of four diners. Choose between the 4-course set dinner or brunch, which consists of 25 dishes from Kyderabad, Southern Kerala, Punjab and Rajasthan to name a few. Five mums will also stand the chance to have a private cooking class with chef Manjunath Mural.

Choose from two specially created set menus to celebrate mum, (minimum four people).
